Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative leadership in the management of the Psychological Center.
- Develop mechanisms for on-going and systematic research and evaluation of services at the Psychological Center.
- Oversee psychological screenings and intake assessments and treatment recommendations of new patients.
- Supervise therapists and administrative staff.
- Assign cases and clinical supervisors to therapists.
- Oversee and assess risk management aspects of the Center.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and a record of achievement in a profession or field of expertise related to teaching assignments required.  Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and a minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience are strongly recommended.  Must be licensed psychologist in the State of New York.  In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, teaching, and management skills.  The candidate should also be able to work effectively with diverse constituencies (faculty, staff, and students).  The position calls for a senior clinician who has wide and varied experience, in particular, someone who has worked at a training institution in a supervisory and administrative capacity, and is able to provide guidance to beginning clinicians.
