Position Summary: The Laboratories of Jordan Taylor in the Department of Psychology at Princeton University and John Krakauer in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine are seeking a postdoctoral research associate. The goal of this research project is to identify and explore different processes for sensorimotor learning. Insight into the neuroanatomical substrates of these processes will be gained through behavioral studies, computational modeling, and neuropsychological studies that involve testing patients with damage to either the cerebellum, basal ganglia, or lateral prefrontal cortex. Since the project emphasizes patient work, the applicant will primarily work at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, but will also require occasional travel to Princeton, NJ. Initial appointment is for one year with possibility for renewal pending satisfactory performance and funding (start date: 5/1/2014). Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with emphasis on human motor control and learning is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience with human behavioral experiments, conducting neuropsychological tests, and programming in Python and Matlab.
