Student Services Program Coordinator I
Job Description The Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator I will conduct and coordinate daily administrative activities of the History Department Undergraduate Student Services Office which is responsible for maintaining departmental academic records for more than 450+ majors, coordinating undergraduate advising, consulting with the department's Undergraduate Director and undergraduate committee, and coordinating all undergraduate student services activities. The coordinator will assist current and prospective history majors on admission, progression, and graduation requirements and maintain undergraduate student files. Assist graduate and undergraduate students with course registration questions, clear students for courses with "special permission" or other holds and provide students with schedule codes for registration. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience. Must establish and maintain effective working relationships. Must possess exceptional communication skills - oral and written. Must possess excellent organization and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications Prefer experience in an academic setting working with students. Knowledge of and experience with web-based applications is preferred.
