Anticipated Salary Range
Salary is commensurate with experience.
A Bachelor''s degree and six years experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services or a combination of post high school education and experience as stated to equal ten years. Three years direct experience with association membership activities as well as supervisory and budget experience is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of management, accounting, budgeting, and preparation of financial reports. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend hours.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
A Bachelors or advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred for this position.
If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5. Some nights and weekends hours may be required.

Incumbent will be responsible for the conceptualization, planning, coordinating and execution
of annual membership program, including acquisition and retention efforts utilizing direct mail, telemarketing and electronic communications. Manages membership benefits and fulfillment while organizing all marketing and promotional efforts for membership, special events, alumni programs and affinity partnerships. Provides leadership in the development of the organization''s strategic directions, the fulfillment of the organization''s mission, vision, objectives and core values. Develops and monitors budgets assigned to the Marketing and Membership department.
Oversees affinity revenue programs and identifies potential new partnerships and corporate
sponsorships while managing contract negotiations and specifics. Executes corporate sponsorship including the solicitation of new sponsors while delivering added value for current sponsors. Solicits and executes contracts for sales of print and web advertising for Association communications platforms, inclduing VIRES magazine. Develops and analyzes statistical reports to evaluate membership, marketing, and business development efforts, and manages the department. Provides leadership and oversight for major database requests and projects.
Incumbent will also collaborate with other department directors to develop and manage a comprehensive and coordinated plan for attaining the goals set forth by the president. Prepares and communicates reports for the Board and Marketing and Membership Committee as necessary.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
