Anticipated Salary Range
The salary for this position is $32,000 for a 9 month contract.

Qualifications
PhD in hand or PhD candidate in Italian Linguistics or Italian Studies.

Other Information
Required: An Italian native speaker or will possess native-like fluency, will possess at least 5 years of teaching and language coordination experience combined, the ability to teach a course on Romance Philology or Italian Dialectology. The teaching load is three courses of Italian language per semester, in addition to the Teaching Practicum. Other responsibilities include the supervision and professional development of Teaching Assistants and the scheduling and assignment of classes. This position is a Basic Italian language Director and instructor.

This is a non-tenure track, full-time salaried position beginning August 8, 2014.
