Provides strategic leadership for the creation, coordination, execution and growth of very large, complex events or programs/services that are expected to experience significant change, expansion or evolution over time. Provides supervision and management of multiple staff members working to support the events or program/service.
Key Function #1: Manage the Aspirnaut program and schedule development, recruitment of schools and speakers, production, distribution, marketing and evaluation. Working with various K-12 level educators to select the best applicants for the Aspirnaut . Key Function#2: Identify and seek external funding for program support and development. Key Function#3: Oversee purchasing and ordering of supplies needed to provide engagement and support to community organizations through such engagement of the appropriate agencies and board services. Key Function#4: Direct strategic planning including continuous reassessment and identification of local, national, and international collaborative opportunities for the Virtual School. Develop new website materials, update website, and train students in website management. Responsible for the training and setup of Video Conferences Key Function #5: Manage various databases for the Aspirnaut and Cell Matrix areas of the division.
Key Function#6: Design and monitor the program websites. * Other duties as assigned.
Job requires Bachelor's and 3 years of experience or the equivalent.
