Position Summary: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in public administration and public policy with occasional courses in American government and political science.

Duties and Responsibilities: The teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. Scholarly research and service to the university and community are required, but teaching is given the highest priority. This position will contribute to the new Master of Public Administration program, including efforts to achieve NASPAA accreditation. 

As of Spring 2014, the MPA program has over 80 students actively enrolled in the program.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Public Administration, Public Affairs, Public Policy (or specialized policy area), or equivalent with an emphasis on public administration; practical experience working in a public or nonprofit setting desired. 

ABD will be considered. 

Applicants who have not yet completed their doctorate are asked to describe their progress and plans for completion.
