Job Description: Working in a collegiate athletics environment, the individual in this position must be detail oriented and be a team player with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Excellent organization, time management, and analytical skills are essential. Candidates should possess the ability to be flexible, manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and handle confidential information and sensitive matters in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate must be able to think independently to interpret and communicate guidelines, policies etc., while being able to identify alternative solutions and resolve standard and non-standard challenges using operating procedures, practices and established precedents. The individual will be expected to understand and apply a variety of features in software programs and databases in the performance of their duties. Responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to duties with the unit's daily management of the ECU trademark licensing program, the Athletics Hall of Fame and its events and SACS information management. The selected candidate will manage administrative support responsibilities; work with the unit's budget management and research and data utilization for the advancement of the department. Responsibilities include the review and maintenance of licensed product approvals, licensing marketing and promotion efforts, communicating with outside vendors and event planning and management. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with athletics, Pirate Club, University staff and faculty, alumni, students, retailers, licensees, licensing agency, and other constituencies and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with procedures, guidelines and policies as it relates to the application of the duties of this position. It is essential that the person in this position communicate and interact exceptionally well with the public. Occasional night and weekends work in performance of duties.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
