Position Summary:

The Economics Department of Northeastern University seeks to fill two benefits-eligible, full-time Lecturer positions, beginning in September 2014. Primary teaching will be in the undergraduate program, and may include introductory, intermediate, or advanced core and elective classes. Some graduate program teaching may also be included, depending upon needs. Responsibilities may also include mentoring majors, advising student clubs, and participating in occasional university events of interest to majors or prospective majors.

Qualifications:

PhD degree in Economics or related field is required at the time of appointment. Evidence of effective teaching experience strongly preferred.

The Department of Economics, which resides in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, serves approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 80 graduate students in its MA and PhD programs.
