The School of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in Political Science at the Assistant Professor level beginning in the 2014-2015 academic year connected to a new degree in Political Science and History. Candidate should be a generalist in addition to any specialization he or she may have. Experience with an interdisciplinary approach is desirable as the candidate may teach an Interdisciplinary Seminar. Candidate will be doing curriculum development, student advising, may advise student clubs connected to the major, serve on academic and college committees, and be a collegial member of the program, school and college community. As a teaching college, we seek an enthusiastic and innovative teacher. Candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Political Science and experience teaching at the college level.
