Department Overview
Our department emphasizes the practical use of anthropology to solve problems and improve people's lives. All faculty members are applied anthropologists. Furthermore, the department is located within UNT's College of Public Affairs and Community Service. This school houses applied social sciences at UNT, such as gerontology, public administration, and social work.


Job Description
THIS POSITION IS A PART-TIME BENEFITS ELIGIBLE POSITION.

The position of Student Services Specialist III in the Anthropology department will serve as the master's programs coordinator. The purpose of this position will be to recruit and provide information about the anthropology graduate programs to prospective students, including updating marketing materials, to provide necessary support to current graduate students and graduate faculty including advising and managing the online program and courses, and webmaster for department website.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and one year of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
*Proficiency in MS Office
