Visiting Assistant Professor, U.S. History
The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey seeks applications for a 10-month (September 2014-June 2015) full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in any period of North American history (colonial, nineteenth-century, or modern, with a particular interest in Atlantic World, Native American, Women's/Gender history, or American Studies). Ph.D. required at time of appointment. Successful candidate will teach courses in North American History, as well as one course per semester in the College's General Studies program. Teaching load is three four-hour courses per semester. Salary depends on qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of excellence in teaching.
