Student Services Manager II
Job Description The University of South Carolina seeks a Director of Study Abroad who has the skills and experience to enhance and expand the University's international education initiatives. Reporting to the Vice Provost, the Director oversees the Office of Study Abroad and has responsibility for International Agreements. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 6 years experience in student services program area. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years of leadership experience. Significant experience living, studying, and/or working abroad. Culturally sensitive, flexible, independent, innovative, and reliable. Fluency in a language other than English. Demonstrated commitment to fostering global perspectives. A track record of active participation in professional organizations (e.g. Forum on Education Abroad, NAFSA).
