Job Description Summary:
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Broad experience in alumni relations is strongly desired.

Exceptional interpersonal, people and time management skills and enjoy working individually and with groups of volunteers is highly desired.

Proven written and oral communication skills strongly desired.

Excellent presentation skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Job Duties
  • Develops and manages the alumni reunion programs for the various reunion classes for the Law School. Plans and coordinates the event planning and logistical execution for the reunion programs to include communications, invitations, receptions, etc.

  • Travels and meets with Law alumni around the country to promote reunion attendance and giving to the School; serves as the primary point of contact for alumni who have a reunion year to celebrate; cultivates, recruits and trains a network of volunteers for various positions in each reunion class committee; provides information to each reunion class about the different types of possible class gifts; solicits lead gifts from each class.

  • Works collaboratively with Law School faculty and Development staff in the attainment of the School's goals by identifying and developing prospect pools in each reunion class. Maintains a good understanding of the alumni relations and development programs of the School to maximize participation in giving.

  • Participates in annual and/or multiple year solicitation plans that include alumni, existing donors, and potential prospects. Maintains strong alumni/donor relations, and represents the School at meetings, events, and other activities as appropriate.

  • Explores best practices to maximize the capabilities of alumni/donor giving by keeping abreast of local, regional and national trends related to institutional fundraising.

  • Performs other work related duties as assigned.
