Qualifications: Master’s degree or Doctorate and demonstrated success as a classroom teacher required. Responsibilities: Teaching load of 12 contact hours per semester (four courses/semester). Teaching load will be primarily EMF 313: History of Film, EMF 368 Genre Theory and Criticism, and EMF 205: Women and Gender in Film and Media. Coordinate EMF 205 adjunct faculty. Teaching introductory survey courses may also be required. Service to the department, college, and university is expected as is some scholarship. The Department: The Department offers a major in Electronic Media and Film with concentrations in Film, Video, and Digital Media; Radio/Audio; and Film and Media Studies.
