ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF GREEK LIFE, LEADERSHIP AND INVOLVEMENT
Monmouth College, a residential liberal arts college located in western Illinois, seeks applications for the full-time, year-round, live-in position of Assistant Director of Greek Life, Leadership and Involvement. Reporting to the Associate Director of the Wackerle Career and Leadership Program, the Assistant Director is a member of the Student Life Staff and, among other duties, is responsible for assisting with the overall development, implementation and evaluation of the leadership development and community service program, including direct supervision of student workers and Greek house managers; and, overseeing the Office of Student Involvement, organizations as well as the coordination of new student organizations. The Assistant Director shares on-call duties and assists with campus emergencies. Bachelor’s degree, and ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and a working knowledge of student development theory and a commitment to its implementation are required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work energetically and well with college students are essential. Master’s degree in College Student Personnel or related field preferred. Experience with residence life management, leadership development, and Greek Life a plus, but not required.
