Minimum Qualifications: * Master of Science degree in Nursing or related discipline * Ph.D. in Nursing or related discipline * An unencumbered Colorado RN license or the ability to obtain one is required. * Interest in teaching in an online graduate nursing program with on campus engagement in service responsibilities * Established research program or one that holds promise for funding and scholarship contributions

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Teaches graduate and undergraduate students in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings. Engages in an active research process with publication activity. Becomes involved in various service activities within the College, UCCS, the profession of nursing, and the community. Maintains professional and academic expertise. Selects and schedules student learning experiences to meet course and clinical objectives and guides students in achieving desired outcomes. Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess the learner's progress. Participates in the evaluation process of students and faculty. Participates in the guidance, advising and recruitment of students. Identifies personal goals and participates in the College and UCCS self evaluation process. Participates in curriculum development. Participates in meetings and other activities that advance the College goals. Other duties as determined by the Dean and Department Chairs.
