SR RESEARCH ANALYST, Institutional Research (1210/C1814)
Support the University undergraduate recruitment efforts through analysis of proposed admission and aid strategies. Analyze the impacts of all students on the financial aid budget of the University. Develop and maintain mathematical models and reports which project the number of acceptances and amount of aid needed to meet the incoming freshman and transfer targets, as well as to meet the need of continuing undergraduates for the University. Monitor and analyze enrollment and aid awards of the admitted freshman class in order to project, assess, and measure enrollment and aid against the enrollment and financial aid plans of the University. Develop and prepare statistics on the financial aid needs and awards of students. Respond to, develop, and produce ad-hoc reports and analyses in response to inquiries and strategic planning for central administration and the schools and colleges.Required Skills
B.A./B.S., Masters Degree preferred, experience with enrollment management and financial aid budgeting preferred, proficiency with analytical tools including Microsoft Excel and SPSS, knowledge and experience in Predictive Modeling and statistical analysis including regression analysis, strong communication skills, including the ability to express complex ideas in a cohesive, understandable manner and five to eight years of experience and knowledge in the field of institutional research, admissions, financial aid, and/or other higher education area.
