Senior Consultant of Faculty Benefits and Total Rewards
The Senior Consultant of Faculty Benefits and Total Rewards is primarily responsible for communicating and assisting the Executives and Faculty with maximizing their Vanderbilt benefit programs. This would include items such as:
- New hire on-boarding and facilitating their enrollment in core and supplemental benefit programs
- Key contact for supporting Executives and Faculty with benefit related decisions throughout their employment and as they leave Vanderbilt
Furthermore, this individual will develop and execute programs in support of reward strategies to ensure that all of our reward programs (employee benefits, compensation, work-life initiatives, performance based recognition, and employee development) work together to create short and long term impact.
Skills: This job requires significant knowledge and experience with compensation and employee benefit plan design, communication and administration processes; project and administrative management; vendor relations; presentation, spoken and written communications and customer service.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or the equivalent.
Master's or MBA a plus.
Preferred Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
