Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Job Duties
  • Manage event set ups and maintain GWSB Events’ equipment, i.e., chairs, tables, etc.

    Responsible for setup of furniture during scheduled events for the School of Business. Ensuring that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event.

  • Assist Director with management of office moving and furniture, makes purchasing recommendations and assists in ordering additional inventory as needed.

    Serves as contact person for furniture deliveries and replacement. Oversees renovations and projects.

  • Schedules and supervises a team of interns/students/temporary employees. Responsible for training employees which include, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

  • Greets visitors, and responds to questions; refers callers, visitors, and emails to the appropriate departments and staff members; communicates effectively by telephone and in person with internal and external parties on behalf of the Office of Operations and Events. Ensures program initiatives are facilitated through positive customer relations.

  • Responsible for entering, tracking, and closing out items in the FixIT system.

    Work with housekeeping in resolving minor issues regarding daily cleaning

    Manage building keys, ensuring accurate record of all keys assigned to staff/faculty.

    Maintain Visio office floor plans.

  • In collaboration with the Director, create, maintain, and distribute GWSB emergency procedures.

    Conduct a daily sweep of Business buildings (Funger & Duques), examining the condition of the building.

  • Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
