Faculty Position

Campus: Stony Brook West Campus/HSC

Required Qualifications: MD degree or equivalent. Eligibility for New York State licensure. Completion at an accredited Neurology residency. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology. Strong interest in an academic career.

Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology/Dementia or other Neurology sub-specialty. Candidate should have the training and commitment to develop an independent clinical or basic research program.

Responsibilities & Requirements: The position requires working 50% of the time on the Neurology inpatient service. The ideal candidate will have finished a residency and sub-speciality fellowship, have a strong interest in an academic career, with training and commitment to develop an independent clinical or basic research program.

Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
