Anticipated Salary Range
This position will be filled at the annual salary of $25,100.
A Bachelor's degree and one year experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years. Prior customer service experience. Experience working with detailed information. Computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to compile, organize and analyze financial data. Ability to counsel students on financial aid and university matters and apply federal, state and university rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with others.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.

Knowledge of financial aid program regulations and policies.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
This position is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, verifying and awarding Financial Aid to eligible recipients within the Campus Based Aid section. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to analyze, evaluate and determine financial aid awarded to students. Takes corrective action as needed to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Institutional policy as a result of students officially or unofficially withdraws from the university and calculates the return of Federal Title IV funds as it pertains to the program. This position will have special emphasis on the Federal Perkins Loan Program and responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring eligibility requirements, follow-up with external agencies and student. Reviews, monitor, evaluate and enhance processes related to Withdrawals as well as Federal Perkins Loan Program. Responsible for systematic and manual awarding of aid to students this includes but is not limited to, Special Circumstance reviews, Dependency Override and other functional processes within the section. This position will monitor and resolve financial aid over-awards and under-awards for all federal, state and institutional funded programs and processes. This position will be responsible for awarding aid according to Federal, State and Institutional policies and procedures which ensures accurate and timely dissemination of financial aid funds to students. This position will review and interpret regulations in reference to financial aid awarding requirements, to ensure continued eligibility and reviews various reports to ensure compliance. Research system impacts and integration of processes with various internal as well as external agencies. Provides continuous financial aid assistance and counseling services on a daily basis to students, parents, university staff and others regarding the financial aid awards and processes by email, telephone, in person and/or workshops.
