FOOTBALL (DEFENSIVE POSITION) INTERN ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT
Gettysburg College is seeking an intern for football (defensive position). Responsibilities include practice planning and coaching (defensive position), strength and conditioning, and recruiting. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Athletics as required. This appointment begins May 1, 2014 and will continue through May, 2016. Bachelor’s degree required. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in the environment of an academically demanding liberal arts institution with NCAA Division III athletic philosophies and policies, have outstanding interpersonal skills and organizational skills. First Aid/CPR certification is required. Compensation is paid on an hourly basis, and the individual is eligible to participate in the College’s fringe benefit program, including: medical, dental and vision insurance.
