MPA Senior Instructor
Posting Description: The nationally-ranked, NASPAA accredited School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver seeks an engaging instructor to teach master's level students in public administration, starting spring of 2015. Expected full-time teaching load is seven courses over the calendar year. The job would also include at least 8 second-readerships of MPA capstone client projects over the academic year. Minimum Qualifications: Successful candidates will have proven teaching effectiveness, a terminal degree in the field (PhD, JD, or equivalent), and the ability to teach two or more of the following courses: Introduction to Public Administration, Organizational Management and Change, Research and Analytic Methods, Economics and Public Finance, Policy Process and Democracy, and/or Leadership and Ethics.
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven ability to teach online classes is also desired.
Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have expertise in policy analysis, research methods, program evaluation and similar courses.
