The Title IV Funds Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all R2T4 calculations are completed in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for reconciliation of student accounts after the R2T4 has been processed.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:

•Process all R2T4 calculations according to institutional and state refund policies, including official and unofficial withdrawals

•Assist in the reconciliation of student records and financial transactions related to R2T4 calculations

•Maintain detailed records to ensure a clear audit trail is kept

•Attend conferences and stay abreast of regulatory changes to ensure SNHU is compliant with all federal and U.S. Department of Education cash management regulations

•Assist other team members, as needed, in assessing the impact of new federal rules and regulations and helps to implement any necessary changes to affected processes and procedures

The successful applicant must have:

•Bachelor’s Degree

•1 to 2+ years’ experience within a financial aid office

•Demonstrated analytical skills with an unwavering attention to detail

•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

•Experience with a Student Information System (SIS), Ellucian Colleague preferred

•Proficiency with MS Office products
