Lecturer in Civil (Structural) Engineering School of Civil, Mining, Environmnetal Engineering Full Time, Fixed Term (3 year) Appointment Our key Structural Engineering research strengths are in the areas of infrastructure application of FRP composites, non-linear finite element modeling of hybrid structures, structural behavior under extreme loadings, composite structures and structural strengthening. This position has arisen from a successful ARC-DECRA award in the research area of infrastructure application of FRP composites, and will contribute to the teaching and research excellence of the School in the promotion of structural engineering discipline. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated candidate with PhD in Structural Engineering at Lecturer level, who will contribute to the research activities of the structural engineering group. You must have a strong research track record with publications in leading international journals. A track record or proven ability to attract external funding is desired. The School offers four-year Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. You will be required to contribute to the teaching efforts within the civil engineering discipline.
