The SUNY Geneseo School of Business invites applications for a three-year full-time term appointment as Lecturer in Business Administration and Director of Business Internships beginning fall 2014. Candidates must have an MBA or the equivalent, senior level experience in business, and recent college-level teaching experience in finance and/or management. Professional experience in finance/banking/management and in supervising college interns in a business setting or in running an internship program is strongly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate interest and potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching. The Lecturer/Director will teach courses in introduction to business administration, personal finance, and business leadership and will administer the Business School's internship program that places students in paid and unpaid positions in businesses. Directing the internship program will require developing new internship opportunities, orchestrating the placement process, assessing the internship program and evaluating individual internships. Other duties include academic advising and service to the School and College.
