Husson University, a NCAA Division III institution located in Bangor, Maine, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Head Field Hockey Coach. This is a part-time position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. This position will serve as the primary coach and administrator for the Field Hockey program. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, program budget management, recruiting qualified collegiate athletes, demonstrating competent field hockey instruction, motivation and ability to conduct daily practice sessions, and the willingness to work with the field hockey program on annual planning, promotions, and recruiting efforts. This position will also implement the basic principles and policies of the athletic governing bodies (NCAA / NAC / ECAC) and Husson University. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A B.A. or B.S. degree, three years successful coaching experience at the high school or college level, head coaching experience preferred, and the ability to work successfully in a highly competitive Division III environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES Working knowledge of coaching field hockey. The ability to work with Front Rush recruiting software, and the ability to prepare and create film sessions with both individual members of the team and the full team.
