Collaborate with the campus to extend the reach of the University by serving as primary CPE contact for new course and program development. Research, identify, plan, develop, design, organize, implement, administer and evaluate a broad range of University self-sustaining Continuing & Professional Education programs, across all curricular areas, that address important personal, professional, and workforce educational needs. Assist in the development of marketing and promotional plans. Provide a vital and functional link between school/colleges, external partners and CPE. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree required in business administration, communications, education, engineering, social sciences or related area. Three years’ experience in a comparable position which encompassed at least four of the following areas: educational program development and planning, needs assessment, inter-institutional coordination/collaboration, implementation, administration and evaluation of program/class offerings, budgeting, marketing and promoting self-sustaining programs/classes, supervision of staff. Excellent skills: communications (both written and oral), problem solving and negotiation, inter-personal (and an ability to work with diverse populations), public relations, data analysis methodologies and tools (Microsoft Excel or comparable). Attention to detail and competence with administrative aspects of the work, including software programs (word processing, spread sheets, and data bases). Demonstrated success working in a team environment. Familiarity with post-traditional learners and online education preferred. Hiring Salary Range: $45,400-$56,800 (normal starting salary range $45,400-$51,100).
