Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Law

Position Summary: The School of Law invites applications for one full time clinical faculty position to teach first-year legal research and writing and to serve in the Writing and Learning Resources Center starting in the 2014-15 academic year. The Center houses the law school's first-year writing program and its three-year academic excellence program. The individual selected will teach two seminar-sized sections of the research and writing course ("Research, Reasoning, Writing, and Advocacy") per semester and occasionally teach academic-excellence workshops or provide individual and group educational counseling or tutoring.
Education Requirements: Juris Doctorate.
Qualification and Experience: Candidates must have a J.D., bar admission, and practice or clerkship experience. Candidates also should have an outstanding academic record, the ability and desire to work collaboratively on an established team, and experience or demonstrated potential in teaching. A strong plus would be additional experience or degrees in education, counseling, or academic-excellence work.
