FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education invites applicants for a lecturer position in the Department of Medical Education. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Humanities in Medicine and specialized topics courses. The successful candidate will also be expected to eventually take on administrative and advising responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Narrative Medicine and at least two years of experience in teaching on the college level preferred. Experience working with diverse groups/students. Evidence of a commitment to and achievement of dynamic and effective teaching and program coordination. Expertise in the areas of computer-assisted instruction and instructional technology (e.g. Blackboard) is a plus.

COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with experience, up to a maximum of $74,907.
