Duties: The successful candidate will: (1) recruit participants from outpatient oncology clinics; (2) conduct eligibility screenings in-person and by telephone; (3) conduct psychological screening interviews (MINI) and cognitive testing; (4) collect questionnaire data, biological samples, as well as enter data; and (5) conduct brief smoking cessation counseling sessions.

Qualifications: The minimum of a High School diploma and 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Preferred BA/BS in Health Sciences, Social Sciences or related field. Some evening and weekend hours required. Experience with PC computing, especially in the area of quality control and data entry. Good organization, communication and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a short turnaround time. Ability to work with health care professionals at all levels. Position contingent upon funding.
