Located in Central Florida, Lake-Sumter State College is a multi-campus institution annually serving over 7,500 students. We invite candidates to apply for our Instructor, Philosophy position. This faculty member will primarily be responsible for introductory philosophy and ethics courses, as well as a survey course in world religions. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, online instruction, or on multiple campuses. Our faculty positions are 9 month (163 day) annual contract positions. Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution, including 18 graduate semester hours of prefix specific coursework in discipline and must be proficient in the use of technology. Previous college-level teaching experience preferred. Strong communications and teamwork skills required.
