Job Description To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. Answers questions and greets community members in a timely, professional manner. Responds to inquiries, identifies needs, answers questions, provides information and facilitates advisor assistance when necessary. 2) Answer general student inquiries and makes referral to appropriate campus resources. 3) Maintains and updates student records. Processes drops or adds student classes, updates student records and demographic information, processes other documents and performs other functions. 4) Faxes or mails schedules, enrollment packets, flyers, bulletins, and other items. 5) Explains College admission process, reviews admission criteria to selective admission programs and outlines courses required for acceptance into the program for those students as needed. 6) Informs students on College policies and procedures, majors, programs of study and degree requirements. 7) Provides information on course selection, prerequisite authorizations and other permissions needed for student registrations. Provide information on department and campus processes. 8) Provides financial aid information and explanation of processes when appropriate. 9) Provides information about Cashier and Student Accounting processes and disbursement dates. 10) Keeps accurate records. Completes and maintains required documentation including credit card tuition statements and registration reports. 11) Maintains confidentiality of student records, and other sensitive information. 12) Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

Required education/experience An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum qualifications for this position are: Associates Degree and 1 to 3 years customer service experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Able to multi task and handle heavy volumes of incoming calls. Skill in: verbal and written communications; listening; customer service; data entry; application of job software programs; maintaining and promoting good public relations; networking.

Preferred Qualifications

Training/Certifications Required State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to worksite(s).
