Position Summary: The Statewide Campus System of Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking to fill a full time Curriculum Specialist position. This position requires knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation as well as competency in instructional design. The successful applicant will interact with residents, clinical faculty, specialist colleagues and support staff in assessing existing curriculum programs, planning and implementing an infrastructure for evaluation and faculty development, designing new program evaluation, and disseminating curriculum evaluation across a statewide system of 37 osteopathic training hospitals in Michigan. The person must possess administrative skills and professional maturity for coordinating multiple levels of participants across the system.

Support Staff: Minimum Requirements
A master's degree with five to seven years of organized and demonstrated experience in faculty development, curriculum evaluation, and educational administration, quantitative program assessment, evaluation and research design in medical education.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: A doctoral degree with five to seven years of organized and demonstrated experience in curriculum and faculty development and educational administration, quantitative program assessment and evaluation in medical education, design and administration of evaluation infrastructure, success in published research and grant writing, and competency in web design and electronic evaluation. Instructional design, educational administration, or a related field.
