Position Summary: We seek a dynamic, innovative individual who will assist in the recruitment and retention of women engineering students; projects will be assigned by the program director and may include planning and implementation of pre-college and other outreach programs; projects include workshops, competitions, on-campus events, and other recruiting activities for prospective students; in addition, assistance in the coordination of week-long summer camps and other K-12 outreach events; assessment is expected.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to students as well as a working knowledge of social media, strong communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in office software. Some travel, evening and weekend work is required.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year college degree program; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in admissions, counseling, public relations, student services or related area, including implementing programs and schedules, making formal presentations, and working with the public; experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Engineering fields and careers in engineering, and experience in mentoring students, interns, or entry-level employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
