Position Summary: Provides support for the infrastructure and user systems; primary responsibility will be to support the hardware, software, and application delivery; analyzes, installs, and repairs desktop and laptop hardware and software; installs and administers server based local area networks including design and application of user security; administers groupware and Microsoft Exchange; trains and supports staff in software and hardware usage; application delivery; and user support; keeps abreast of changing technology as it supports office functions.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related information technology field, with coursework in an information technology specialization related to the area of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in supporting a technology infrastructure including Active Directory, MS Server 2003 through 2012, Windows 7 and 8, SAN, VMware, and Microsoft Exchange; experience with HTML; desktop, laptop and tablet computer troubleshooting, repair, and application installation, and desk/end-user computer support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Experience with setup and administration of webs using Internet Information Server; experience with system backup, mail systems, and mobile smart phone support; excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently on complex work assignments.
