Training and Experience: Applicants for the position must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree(Master's preferred) in English or Composition or a related discipline. Writing lab experience or other compensatory education experience is desirable. Testing Requirements: Illustrative Examples of Work: The individual filling the position will supervise the Reading/Writing Lab, work with students from all disciplines in improving their reading and writing skills, coordinate lab activities, report on the uses of the lab to the Chair of the Department of English, Modern Languages and Mass Communication and supervise student assistants with lab activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve on departmental and university committees, participate in university functions and perform other duties as assigned.
