DIR INTERCOLG ATHLETICS
Duties: The Director of Athletics will direct the development and operation of all aspects of the University's 33 intercollegiate varsity sports, intramural, recreation and club athletic programs and facilities. Represents Athletics in University and external athletic committees. Oversees departmental fund-raising activities. Adheres to the policies of the Ivy League, NCAA and the University of Pennsylvania.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred, coaching and teaching experience highly desirable. Demonstrated commitment to a program of academic and athletic excellence and demonstrated experience in donor development and fundraising. Significant experience in strategic and financial planning recommended. Commitment to diversity and the development of an inclusive campus culture required as well as a record of fostering excellence in student development as well as athletic affairs. Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and productive partnerships with a broad range of constituencies, both inside and outside the institution. Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required.
