Associate Director of Student Conduct

Position Summary: The Associate Director reports to the Director of the Office of Student Conduct Judicial Programs Officer within Student Affairs and is a member of the Office of Student Conduct. The Associate Director is responsible for supporting the daily functioning of the Undergraduate and Graduate Professional Honor Systems and participating in education and programming initiatives designed to meet the needs of the student body and the larger University community. This position requires the exercise of sound discretion in the advising and training of students, faculty, and staff; the implementation of complex University policies; and the recording and collection of data and information concerning students used for reporting purposes at the University, state, and federal levels. This position encompasses a wide variety of counseling, educational, research and supervisory duties in the areas of program management, outreach activities, and staff student training. The position is charged with working as a part of a team that provides leadership and vision for Judicial Programs including the Honor System.

Education Requirements: Master's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, student affairs, or other relevant discipline is required. Additional education or training in student counseling and or judicial affairs preferred.

Qualification and Experience: For full consideration, a minimum five years of progressively responsible work experience in student conduct or student affairs, or transferable experience from a related field. Experience with administrative disciplinary proceedings at a college or university is strongly preferred.
