Position Summary: Teaching undergraduate courses in Spanish - specifically at the 1000 (Elementary) level beginning with the Fall 2014 semester. Renewable appointment with benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching 16 hours of undergraduate courses in Spanish each semester, attending start of year training session(s), departmental faculty meetings, and coordinating with Department faculty to achieve course continuity, assessment and quality as required. Some service expectation.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Spanish or related field and at least 3 years higher education teaching experience in Spanish are required. Some preference for candidates with experience in online teaching (especially UCO teaching certification), which may take up a significant portion of teaching load.
Preferred/Required Documents: On-line Faculty application with cover letter, curriculum vitae, three professional letters of reference, and degree transcripts attached is required. Additional degree transcript may be attached, but is optional. Additional documentation may be requested at a later date.
