This position reports to the Director of Multimedia Productions (DMMP). The Producer / Videographer will be responsible for assisting in all production work including, but not limited to: President’s Fall and Spring video messages, fundraising videos, admissions videos, marketing campaign materials and annual holiday video. Assisting in producing, editing, directing, videotaping and developing content for the production of TerpVision and short video releases to help promote news/events around campus. Assures that all video productions meet the goals and objectives of clients and are also consistent with the mission of the university. Plans, organizes, and tracks responsibilities for video productions from concept through post-production. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.): Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: Must have 3-5 years of video production experience, including mastery of Final Cut Pro video editing software, After Effects, DSLR/Panasonic P2 cameras and equipment, video lighting equipment and working with Photoshop. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in managing complicated assignments with multiple contributors. Strong verbal and written communication skills. The salary range for this position is $72,000s to $ 90,000s.
