Responsibilities

The Education Department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in special education at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2014. Applicants with expertise in exceptional children and the curriculum, pedagogy, and legal issues surrounding their education are encouraged to apply.



Minimum Qualifications

- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in special education or related field (or anticipated degree in hand by December 2014)

- K-12 school experience teaching individuals with learning disabilities.



Preferred Qualifications

Experience with university-level teaching and advising in a pre-service teacher education program; technology skills related to special education.
