The University of St. Thomas (MN) has an opening for an Equipment Manager within the Athletic Department. The equipment manager position is responsible for the distribution, collection, care, inventory and storage of all athletic equipment. This includes uniform and practice gear, practice and game equipment, plus game day set up and take down for the 22 varsity sports sponsored by the university. This position also supervises several student workers. The position may require more than 40 hours per week.
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in an athletic equipment room operation, preferably at the intercollegiate level. Must have general knowledge of a wide variety of intercollegiate sports and the skill to maintain and repair a wide variety of sports equipment and athletic wear. A valid driver's license is required.
