Job Title: Assistant Professor Location: Georgia Regents University Reference #: 7842 BOR Applicant Clearinghouse 68189 Job Information Georgia Regents University Assistant/Associate/Professor, Pos#7561 MCG - Department of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases The George Regents University Infectious Diseases Section invites applications for a non-tenure track Infectious Diseases faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level. The successful candidate will develop a robust clinical program as well as a clinical and translational research program in collaboration with all disciplines in infectious diseases and basic scientists. Positions will enhance teaching through partnership with the Medical College of Georgia in the form of didactic and residency practical instruction in infectious diseases. The Section of Infectious Diseases provides care to adult patients afflicted with to a variety of infectious diseases. The Infectious Diseases program also includes a well-established Ryan White Clinical Center that has administered care to a largely rural, semi-urban population of HIV patients, providing care to approximately 1300 active HIV/AIDS patients. Approximately 200 patients are newly diagnosed annually.
