York College of The City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Biology to begin Fall semester 2014. Instructional responsibilities include lecture and laboratory courses in the faculty's field of specialty as well as other major and non-major courses as needed by the Department. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in and commitment to undergraduate teaching and the ability to develop and maintain an active research program supported by external funding. Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
