Major Duties: - This position serves as WMU's regional representative for outreach and growth in the Chicagoland area. Maintains application file management and follow-up responsibilities for all out-of-state applications, excluding Indiana, Ohio, and Texas. - Recruits students to the University by developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs. - Develops and implements marketing strategies and programs to recruit high school and community college students. - Develops informational presentations and gives the same to target audiences. - Advises students and parents and provides them with information about academic programs and the University in general. - Oversees the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. Implements admissions policies and procedures. - Reviews and evaluates applications and makes admission decisions for beginner and transfer students. Communicate with students, parents, high school counselors and WMU staff about admissions decisions. - Coordinates, implements and evaluates university sponsored programs for all stages of the recruitment process.

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree. - Strong oral presentation skills. - The ability to travel regularly and work some nights and weekends in the Chicagoland area. - Some travel to Kalamazoo including some overnight stays. - Valid driver's license.
