Supports Admissions Office operations by providing application and enrollment functions for international and immigrant students and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and governmental regulations and reporting requirements. Provides recruitment, retention, and enrollment services, programs, and resources for international and immigrant students and ensures compliance with the College's strategic goals and enrollment management initiatives. 2. Maintains current knowledge of international and immigrant regulations, enrollment issues, and initiatives. Maintains communication and collaborates with other College departments serving international and immigrant students. Maintains working relationship with international services professionals from other colleges and universities. 3. Assists prospective and new international and immigrant students in identifying their immigration status and appropriate application, financial, testing, and enrollment procedures. Conducts interviews, analyzes students' needs, explains educational options, helps students develop and clarify educational and career goals, and provides information on campus and community services and resources. Works with students and College departments to help students acclimate and integrate into the College, the community, and the United States. 4. Reviews and verifies applications, transcripts, financial information, English proficiency test results, and other documents. Issues and endorses student visa documents. Assists students in obtaining, changing and maintaining immigration and student visa status. Coordinates processes for monitoring and reporting student progress and ensures students maintain compliance with College and governmental policies, procedures, and regulations. 5. Collaborates with other College departments in placement testing and advising processes and support services for international and immigrant students. Assists with new student orientation programs. 6. Promotes College and programs. Recruits and retains students. Provides information, responds to inquiries, and arranges community and international outreach initiatives. Arranges and conducts recruiting presentations for community and school groups, businesses, overseas advisors and other international representatives, and assists with campus tours and visits. Provides direction for print and web information, and print, electronic, and phone communications and outreach efforts. 7. Develops, edits, and updates departmental and student-related forms and documents. 8. Keeps accurate records. Completes and maintains required documentation including contact and activity reports and international student statistics. 9. Maintains confidentiality of student records and other confidential information. 10. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

Required education/experience An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum qualifications are: Master's Degree in Student Personnel/Student Development, Counseling, Guidance, Education, International Studies, or closely related field with 3 to 5 years progressively responsible experience in International Student Services, Admissions, Advising, Enrollment Services, or other student services area; bi-lingual skills helpful.
