Position Summary: The Andlinger Center for Energy and Environment and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University seek a distinguished senior scholar in the field of energy and public policy for appointment as a visitor to Princeton University for the academic year 2014-2015. The successful candidate may be either an academic visitor from another university spending a sabbatical year at Princeton or a senior practitioner from industry, a government laboratory or non-governmental organization. The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to three courses in a relevant field, subject to sufficient enrollment and approval by the Dean of the Faculty. Renewal of the appointment for a second year may be possible. Complete applications, including cover letter and CV, will be reviewed beginning March 17, 2014.

Essential Qualifications: We seek scholars whose research and teaching interests are focused on energy issues, particularly in relation to public policy at the domestic or international levels. Specifically, we are interested in those whose research emerges from one or more of the following perspectives, all of which are already represented in the Woodrow Wilson School: engineering, natural sciences, economics, politics, sociology, psychology, history; or social sciences and humanities more broadly. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates interested in playing a leadership role in stimulating collaboration across the several relevant university entities.
