Visiting Assistant Professor of History
Job Summary and Requirements: United States History Before 1900: The History Department at Denison University, a highly selective liberal arts college, invites applications for a one-year replacement position in U.S. history before 1900. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Candidates must have the ability to teach both halves of the U.S. survey. Teaching responsibilities include survey courses as well as upper-level undergraduate courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Appointment will be at the visiting assistant professor level for one year beginning August 28, 2014. Ph.D. and teaching experience preferred.
